From Sprites to Bones - 11.13.18


So, it's been a while. Here are the things we got done during our absence. 

- We got our sprites switched over to skeletal animation using Anima2D, and found a pixelate camera script on the unity asset store. 

 - We also got sprinting working though the animation doesn't stop when we switch to idle (if anyone thinks they can help me find a solution, please reach out! Any help is greatly appreciated!) 

 - Jumping no longer springs you into the air, instead you do a short hop which we will probably keep as climbing will hopefully be a feature that makes up for Kid's weak legs.


The things we have on our to-do list is:

1. Fix the sprint animation so it properly transitions to Idle.

2. Create the climbing feature. This will be done either using raycasts or wall/ceiling checks

3. Implement spears and throwing mechanics.
